OUR PROCESS

Our specialist Care at Ebenezer Ltd Care receives your homecare enquiry. We will discuss your specific care requirements with you and get to know your personality and preferences. We will provide information on the services that are available to you, as well as an outline of costs.

We will arrange for a member of our Care Team to visit you and carry out a comprehensive care assessment of your care needs, including a risk assessment to ensure your safety. Following this visit, a fully costed care package will be offered.

We will finally analyse your care plan with you and your family, making sure you are happy with every aspect.

We will identify suitable healthcare professionals to support you in-line with your care plan and arrange for you to meet them to ensure that all of your needs are met. If any additional training is required to support your care requirements, this will also be coordinated.
Then your service will start.

    I have completed my Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care. I completed 2 years of my training before leaving to look after my mother full time.

    I joined Ebenezer Ltd in December 2015 as a care worker and became Supervisor in January 2016 . As I was a care worker previously for the company I have built good relationships with the customers and the care workers. I like meeting new people and feel I have a professional and friendly personality that puts new customers at ease.

    I have continued working as a care supervisor whilst supporting the business co-ordinator. I feel my knowledge of the areas in Derbyshire along with the knowledge I have working with the customers and carers means that I can match the carer to the customer well. Our main focus is to ensure that the customer is getting the care they want and delivered in a professional way.

    I have undertaken a lot of training in safeguarding and in different sectors of health care. I love to expand my knowledge and I also have experience with invoicing and payroll. I am currently studying towards my Diploma Level 5 in Management and Leadership within the health and social care sector. I am very approachable and if anyone would like to discuss anything with me please contact me on the office number. I work full day Monday, half day Wednesday pm and full days Thursday and Friday.

    I have over 20 years experience in various areas and levels of the care profession including elderly, home care, nursing, mental health, learning disabilities and complex needs but specialised more in Live-in care and I have been working as assistant nurse with NHS over 12 years. I am a well-rounded individual with a strong understanding of the care sector as a whole, with a proven track record of delivering high standards in this sector.  I have been a registered manager with the Care Quality Commission for 2 years managing a range of services for adults with various learning disabilities and health conditions.  I am a confident leader and communicator with a drive for excellence.

    As a director I always remain focused, pride myself in honesty and integrity to maintain the highest trust and respect. I am passionate and dedicated to the standards I deliver.  I have experience demonstrating effective people management skills.

    I have vast experience working with multi-disciplinary team professionals such as district nurses, speech and language therapists, physiotherapists, G.P.s, occupational therapists and  learning disability nurses.

    Among-st others my particular specialism is working with people with learning disabilities and complex and physical needs, with specific training and expertise in:

    -Engaging People with profound multiple learning difficulties (PMLD);
    -End of life care;
    -Mental health awareness;
    -Intensive interaction training and communicating effectively with PMLD;
    -Trained safeguarding Manager;
    -Safe handling & specialism in moving and handling of people;
    -Supporting people’s health requirements and conditions such as cerebral palsy and epilepsy;

    I currently hold the Level 4- Diploma in Leadership for health and social care and children and young people’s services.
